Night in Sandbridge – 16 x 20 inches, acrylics

As I stood on a beach in Sandbridge, Virginia, looking out over the water on a clear moon lit evening, I marveled at the reflection of the moon  shining upon the surface of the Atlantic Ocean. Needless to say, the water was calm that evening; the moon appeared just above the horizon line. Its reflection took on the shape of a triangle, gradually growing horizontally as it came closer to the shore.
