"Doors Are Open" is a 16 x 20 " acrylic painting on stretched canvas. The work is protected with a clear coat acrylic finish to help prolong the life of the piece. Care should be taken to ensure the work is not placed in a location exposed to prolonged sunlight.
 
Although the work depicts an imagined space, my childhood memories of barns found throughout rural western Pennsylvania was my inspiration for this scene. Both sets of doors are open, allowing air to pass through. Perhaps this barn was used for equipment storage.
